Course history
- Opened in 1997 as the first course at Gloria, designed by French architect Michel Gayon.
- Gloria hosted the European Seniors Tour's Turkish event in 1998, 2000 and 2001, years when the Old Course was the resort's only 18-hole course.
- Bob Lendzion won there in 1998, Brian Huggett in 2000 and Noel Ratcliffe in 2001.
- The resort added its New Course in 2005, which has since hosted the Challenge Tour's Turkish Airlines Challenge.
Suits
- Fairways are lined with pine trees, and the rough is mostly pine straw and roots, so straight driving matters more than distance.
- Water is in play throughout, including a par-5 opening hole that offers a risk-reward shot at the green in two.
- Greens are Bermuda grass and described as fast, large and undulating, which rewards a good putter.
